Andrea Hughes, a self-taught artist, serves as director of the 14th Street Artist Community and president of the Zuka Art Guild in St. Louis. A native of St. Louis, she grew up in the Fairground Park community, now located in Old North St. Louis. Andrea honed her skills through the Community Arts Training (CAT) program sponsored by the Regional Arts Commission(RAC). She shares her talents by teaching virtual art classes for seniors and creating murals for the "Doors of Old North" project. Andrea's impact on the community was recognized when she was named the "Community Impact Artist of 2022" by The St. Louis Visionary Awards. Additionally, she contributed murals to the Delmar Street Mural Project and was a finalist for the Gateway Greening Banner Projects. FB: Andrea Kahrizma Hughes
