Collage lends itself to storytelling. For me, it is visual poetry - a vehicle for confession, for petition, for catharsis. For the viewer, it is an invitation to discover meaning that is personal to their experience and interpretation. Each image is a cipher, a coded message between myself and the viewer with space within the work for multiple interpretations. In this way, the work is created anew with each viewing.
