Call and Response is a search for common ground and a simultaneous reckoning of differences. It’s a semiotic output of distorted observation; A body of work where material and experiential interaction is accentuated and abstracted.

As varied as our social and environmental understanding, so is the visual breadth of Call and Response. It is weird and wild and mundane and ordered. It is tightly packaged and bulging at the seams. Within a diverse display of material discovery viewers are ushered to find their through-line, to seek a connection beyond the literal and objective. To perhaps find comfort in nuance and novelty rather than distillation and definitiveness.
