The cat's out of the bag in this our Eighth Biannual Exhibition. You never really know what is going to come in with our biannual submission process. Our call for art does not have a theme but for the Eighth Biannual one emerged. Cats.
Artist Jay Thompson will introduce you to Jasper Longwiskers and Mother Moses.
'Jasper Longwiskers is a Tom with an interesting if Royal genealogy, he is currently 35th in cue for the FurCrown. He can often be found along the shore conversing with his subjects. Considered one of the dimmest colors in the Crowns paintbox.'

'Mother Moses has seen many generations of kits. The matriarch and keeper of “the wisdom book”, Old Mose, as she is called, rules with kindness and a feline empathy that is rare. She will be greatly missed when she is gone. This portrait is from a sitting with renowned realist Andrew Wyithfur.'
Self-taught printmaker and recent Saint Louis transplant, Norman Spencer will be exhibiting a series of six linocut cat portraits in an array of moods. Meanwhile in the quiet of the library you will find two cats conspiring in Michelle Graf's painting, Consort.
We even throw in a CATFISH with CB Adams photograph, Jumpin'.
Come out and see a variety of fun, colorful works by 29 local artists that range from sculpture to photography and gel pen to gouache. We don't just have cats in this show. If you are on the lookout you will find a snake, a hummingbird, a skunk, an owl, a peacock, a horse, an octopus and even a polar bear. Extra points if you find a baby bumblebee. Happy hunting!
