A graduate of Mizzou’s Journalism School, Claudia Ruth Burris spent her professional career as a photojournalist, beginning at a small newspaper in Arkansas and ending at Webster University where she worked in public relations for 30 years. Her love of art inspired her to earn her BA in fine art as well. After retirement, Claudia pursued her interest in ceramic art and painting and is proud to be a resident artist at the Soulard Art Gallery.
