This series of paintings comprise of a representational but not realistic approach to portraiture borrowing traits from cubism, surrealism, pop art and the renaissance masters. Laugh Kookaburra Laugh Reflecting back on childhood, we should recall the sights and sounds of a carefree period in our lives. At the same time, we don't fully understand the struggles, advancements, and changes that define the era. The impact of these factors may not reveal themselves until years later.
