I would pass Das Bevo on my way to play pinball and fill the jukebox with money to hear Tom Waits at the Silver Ballroom, long before I started passing by on the STL Donut Tour.
Every time I was stopped at that light, I would stare at this marvelous windmill sitting in the middle of the city and think about how completely it could take you out of the context of your day. You'd be going about your business, and suddenly there it was.
