“The process of incorporating various printmaking techniques offers an opportunity to respond to the natural environment whether familiar or new surroundings. Trips that I've taken or places that interest me have become the focus of my recent artwork. I've loved to draw for many years, but eventually I started experimenting with various surfaces to make marks. Gradually these became the vehicle for personal expression. I find the mysterious within landscapes to be especially intriguing as I incorporate monotype, photo silk screen, image transfer and relief techniques and whatever else satisfies me.”
