My work brings the small lives of insects into the foreground of human experience. Insect forms are adapted to warm paper lights and detailed prints that invite the viewer to consider them as spiritual and biological equals. By highlighting diversity and physiology, my work portrays insects as ecosystem caretakers, genius architects, and recyclers of life. These creatures are teachers from whom we can better understand our own mortality and purpose.
