norm foureva's resilience

norm4eva is based in the US. Her practice is rooted in graffiti and street art with a current focus on large-scale public murals. Working as a creative since the 90s, she has developed a distinct style that has evolved from one-of-a-kind ceiling cloudscapes to extensive site-specific installations for companies including Target, Patreon HQ, the Kranzberg Arts Foundation and Saint Louis University. Being a self-taught artist has allowed norm the freedom to produce artwork based off personal experimentation.

"I want the work I construct to feel special, sacred and timeless. Drawing inspiration from spirituality and my relationship with the afterlife, I enjoy creating wildly colorful "escape routes" which have a dreamlike or otherworldly aura. Producing public art is important to me because I am able to connect with the communities I work in by building environments that are interactive and conducive to creating everlasting memory moments."
