I am a handmade contemporary collage artist currently living and working in St. Louis. My work often explores the reality of geographical distance, self-exploration, mental struggles, nature and the absurd. Normally, I use images from books and magazines. However, this piece was created entirely using my own photographs. By doing this, the art becomes more personal. This piece contains elements that have shaped my story and experiences. I often use images that hold symbolic meaning in an attempt to be more conceptual.
