After my ex broke it off with me, within 24 hours she had wiped me completely off all social media. Four years of knowing and loving someone gone with a delete button. I ran into her at Goodwill months later and said hi. No response. Not even look my way.
If I had to pick words I was thinking of when I drew this, it would be:
Sexiness, heat, betrayal, destroy, social media, drink, triangles, shape repetition, patterns, energy waves, light, focus, subtle, pop.
Normally, I go through two eraser pencils in a year. It took more than four to erase this background. Maybe this was my way of deleting. Maybe I should I erase this entire piece.
ALL ARTWORK CURRENTLY ON EXHIBIT IN THE SUSPENSION OF DISBELIEF EXHIBITION WILL STAY ON DISPLAY AFTER PURCHASE UNTIL NOVEMBER 28TH 2026. Some exceptions on case-by-case basis. Shipping rates subject to change based on location and are the responsibility of the buyer. All sales are final.
