My inspiration is the notion of self, and the complexity of experiences and emotions therein. I work primarily with oil on canvas, creating richly colored characters who are not entirely realistic and are sometimes surreal, but hopefully still relatable. My goal is to inspire those who see my work to look with the heart, not the mind.
