I have been a photographer for several years, and while my favorite subjects to photograph are organic in nature, I am always seeking to experiment with new subject matter and techniques. A few years ago, during a photo walk event at Tilles park, I experimented with a long exposure technique that I had never tried before. Understandably so, the resulting images are often misinterpreted as "fireworks," and viewers are usually surprised to learn that what they are looking at are holiday lights. As a professional photographer, my intention is to capture the viewer's attention from a distance with vibrant colors and unique scenery. My ultimate hope is to draw them in closer to explore the image further and potentially gain a new or different perspective.
