Originally a graphic designer/creative director. I mainly paint with oils and oil pastels, but love photography and watercolors as well. I find a subject that interests me or a photo I have taken and get to work. I’m more and more drawn to the abstract. I find images and faces in my subject that start to emerge as I paint, these will become part of the composition. I'm drawn to impressionist painting, inspired by Post Impressionism. Van Gogh, Renoir, Degas and Lucian Freud are inspirations.  In my paintings I infuse, humor, story telling, abstract and detail elements.
