Oddity appears with no rhyme or reason, and so as well does Beauty; the two main subjects of my interest. I take photos on the street in candid environments. I take the photos on film, to give weight to my window of opportunity. The individuals I photograph, or the environments I photograph, the incidents, the accidents, the encounters, confrontations, etc; they are all distinctly a part of right now. This inadvertent participation as a documentary photographer is the reason why the art continues to fascinate me personally, beyond any possible interpretation of my photos. Every single one of them is real, naturally stumbled upon, and free-flowing, and a piece of now’s history. All beauty is to blame elsewhere, the camera is simply the witness.
